B4 you take out the ignition switch taking a picture is good idea. HOWEVER you may be able to prevent a lot of work (thinking its the switch when it may not be) so try this after marking or picturing where your wires go. MAKE SURE CAR IS IN NEUTRAL. Take and bundle them all together except for large grey one (I am at desk and there may be another color wire attached to the large grey one.Anyway nothing is going to happen until you have the red and yellow into the bundle and grey or grey and white one together. Just touch the grey one to the bundle and car should start. If the car starts then take away the grey wire and it should still run. The grey wire (or grey and white) controls the starter. To stop car disconnect red and yellow from the remaining wires. I think the red and yellow wire is the power source. If car started then switch is likely problem as you have just by passed the switch. If not then previous areas discussed by earlier posts. Now I will not swear the colors are right so a little experimenting won't hurt as the starter wire may be the grey or it may be the grey and white. About 3 weeks ago my key to gear assembly went bad and I hot wired the car for a week this way. I had to do a little experimenting and just slotted the connectors together until the car started. A pair of small pliers will help hold the wire terminal together long enough to tell something. I drove my car a week not just started it with just the terminals slotted together. I was a lot more trouble to remove the key tumbler and replace the key gear, but at least I knew the rest of the starter system was good.
