I did this about 2 months ago on my convertible also - the thing is not *that* bad to get to, but it is not fun. I did it without removing anything in the interior, except the end screw on the lower heater duct, which I bent down and wedged until the brake pedal to keep out of the way, and the left front speaker. There was a significant amount of cursing whilst upside down, but with some long extensions, a flex, and a deep-well socket (13mm I think?), I removed all the nuts either from below or through the speaker opening. Remove the pin holding the brake pedal to the booster, then unbolt the master cylinder from the booster and *gently* move it out of the way, but don't disconnect the hydraulic lines. They will bend far enough for you to sneak the booster in and out. Installation is a snap, the only hard part is getting the nuts started back onto the booster. Took less than an hour. Good luck!
