Best way to install return oil turbo pipe? (long)

Happy Independence Day!! I have an 8516VT. I am almost done with head gasket replcement. The turbo is out of the car and the exhaust manifold is installed. Should I connect pipe to turbo first and then somehow twist turbo onto manifold with return pipe in place (seems difficult to do) or should I install turbo first and then install pipe. If I install turbo first it seems almost impossible to line up pipe flange and turbo and install gasket.
