I do it slightly differently but much the same.
Go ahead and do the exhaust manifold and torque the bolts.
put the oil return tube on the turbo with new gasket, and start the two bolts but only put in about 1/3 of the way
then lean over and position the turbo and fit the oil tube into the block, I like to put the rubber O ring on the tube and not into the block
wrestle that tube into place and then put the upper most outter most bolt into the turbo and exhaust manifold, that will hold everything.
make sure that the oil O ring is pushed into the block, you will just be able to see it around the ridge on the oil return tube.
do the rest of the bolts on the turbo to exhaust.
BE SURE TO get under the car with a 12mm 6point socket and a medium extention to finish tightening the bolts, you can actually get straight on shots at them through the turbo brace.
