I understand that in general you want to advance the spark to maybe 21 BTDC.
My going in assumption is that the fuel:air maps must change to get it to run.
And the threads are consistent that you need to increase the injector capacity by 30% or else boost will lean out.
I'm seeing folklore that the lesser BTU is somewhat compensated by ethanol being a more efficient motor fuel. Less heat is lost into the coolant and out the exhaust. So you need 15% more fuel in general, plus another 15% because boosting is soooo much nicer than with gasoline that you want to press the pedal. Or so I read on other threads.
I'll put megasquirt and Trionic on the consideration list. Another possibility is a DIY reprogrammed chip for a stock ECU.
