Agreed that the practical test is to soak O-rings in the proposed fuel and see what happens.
I might snag a short piece of fuel line and FPR return line from a junk yard and soak those too.
Found online Marco Rubber's O-Ring Fluid Compatibility Guide that evaluates O-ring materials for use in unblended ethanol.
Recommended: Perfluoroelastomer, Aflas TFE/P, EPDM P.C., Buna-N NBR, Silicone, Fluoro-silicone
Probably OK: (none mentioned)
Marginal: Viton ETP, Viton FKM
Not recommended: (none mentioned)
For "gasoline" it's

They aren't crazy about the Viton materials in ethanol. I may not understand what people mean when they refer to Viton O-rings elsewhere on this board. Is there is a 3rd Viton material which the guide neglects?
But Buna-N rubber is ok for either gasoline or ethanol.
I wonder what stock O-rings are made of.
