it sounds like the motor is drawing too high a current or you have a short somewhere possibly in the switch or in the wiring - check the iring at or near the door for cuts and test accordingly
you will need to get access to the motor and test it independent of the switch and go from there. door panel is easily removed. motor will be in plastic bag ...
before doing that see if you can move the window up/down with hand friction - it may simply be stuck due to lack of grease, rust or something else, and causing the motor fuse to blow
if it does turn out to be the motor - don't sweat it - they can be disassembled, re greased and are totally repairable - even new brushes can be added if you want
