Wil,
Even the sensor shot below it worth replacing although it still shows a signal fluctuating between 0-1V. The only thing that prevents me ordering it right away is the sticker that is about $400 (I've got Lucas EFI and there it is Titania sensor that is use used there not much cheaper and common Zirconium that is used in most engines incl C900 with LH).
Also pls advise on the faultcode you pulled out of your ECU. You mean the only code was missing RPM that is always sent when engine is stopped? Probably it's worth trying Tech2 to pull all intermittent and constant codes stored but I'm not too big LH guy and can't say if your '89 SPG is tech2-compatible.
Zig
P.S.
Sorry about no answers about US prices on O2 zirconium sensors and labor to get this sensor replaced. Been neither there nor there.
