And fell off. the alternator shook and bucked around. The bolt backed out all the way to the bulkhead and the front bushing had no bolt running through it. Not a bid deal to fix, any M10 1.5 pitch nut will do. If your bushings are shot, they are only about 5 bucks a piece and it is not hard to replace them. Remove the heater hoses, undo the alternator wires and undo the alternator bracket bolts. Lift it up and pull out the through bolt. To save yourself some pain next time, insert the bolt the other way and put the nut on the bulkhead end.
