Clutch bleed

I've got to bleed my clutch. I've read tons of posts about pressure bleed vs. reverse bleed methods. It seems to me that reverse bleed would be a more logical way to go. I've been thinking a bit and I've got an idea that I want to pass by you all.
I'm thinking of making a reverse bleeder out of crap I've got on-hand. I'm thinking of using a 20oz soda bottle. I could put a brass hose barb in the cap to attach the hose to and put a valve stem in the bottom of the bottle to pump air into to pressurize the fluid in it. I'd hang the bottle upside down like a IV bottle. Think that'll work?
