I have had problems with my 94 vert after changing dist Oring, Cap, Rotor, plugs and wires. To further confuse things I also did a conversion from auto to manual. The problem is, it wouldn't start with the previous plug wire locations and I had to move the sequence up one distributor tower. It started but has what I can only say, is a misfire. Is it possible for the engine to fire on only 2 cyliders?
I decided to put the old plugs, wires, cap and rotor back on, when I did I noticed that plugs 1 and 4 were soot black but 2 & 3 were clean as new, they look like no fuel or anything has toeched them.
Is it possible that I'm not getting fuel to 2&3. I'm wondering if I somhow broke the injectors. I noticed that when I loosened the fuel line that #3 looked cracked. What does it take to break an injector?
Am I way off base here? I hate to just replace every part, but what else can I do?
