Looking more like injectors Posted by Bob_SAAB_101 [Email] (#460) [Profile/Gallery] (more from Bob_SAAB_101) on Sun, 23 Aug 2009 10:52:14 In Reply to: could be your ignition..., saab86, Sun, 23 Aug 2009 09:15:21 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I checked for top dead center and all is right. I replaced all plug wires and I checked each for spark. I know that 2 cylenders are not firing because I can feel the exhaust manifold, 1 & 4 are red hot but 2 & 3 are cold to the touch.
I checked for signal at the injectors and I'm reading 1 volt at all of them. I also listened through a tube and I can hear each injector clicking.
I've now pulled the fuel rail and I think I made a mistake putting anarobic seal on the banjo washers. It is now hard and I'm thinking some got down the line and clogged the injectors. I did see some of the goop did make its way into the banjo bolt and was still soft. I put only a very light coat but I might have done myself in.
What injectors can I get? the number on the blue injector says 280 155 008.
Can they be cleaned out somehow?
