to 'see' the cool spots in a clogged rad-saved no end of head scratching. Having said that, squealing upon startup (after adjusting belts, of course) is the Bottom pulley failing, most likely.i saw you mentioned that in a previous post. Follow tubocon's instructions first, and check the rad if you do have highway problems. As mentioned, replacing rad is not a big deal, not expensive ($130 or so), and great maintanence (SP?) in any case. Water pumps are so simple in design, if they are not leaking at the seal, they are basically fine. good luck.
