I used a 3/8" x 12" threaded rod with a washer and 1-1/8" socket x 1/2" drive on the one side of the bracket and a washer and nut on the other end to pull the old bushing through. It worked good. It can be a little tedious trying to keep the whole contraption straight when pulling the new bushing into the bracket. I used alot of dish soap. I'm glad you and Estaban had the discussion about what to use. The threaded rod worked great for me. Thanks again for your input and help!!!
