86 SPG. Pulls well under load. Runs smooth at no load 2000rpm. When I let it drop to idle, I get misfires and a real awful knock sound from the engine.
Injectors replaced. Distributor cap/rotor replaced. Plugs and wire replaced (Bougicord and stock Bosch plugs, gapped)Original ECU as far as I know. New turbo. Timing set. New O2 sensor, verified operating. AIC cleaned, seems ok. AMM glows, and adjusted to 380ohm (have not tweaked it to the O2 yet. Throttle body cleaned (sprayed & wiped from intake). I pull vac line from fuel reg and idle goes up.
History: largely unknown, but phone numbers scratched in paint seem interesting! When I bought the car, (no rust) the timing chain had jumped two teeth.Unknown how long abused this way. Since replaced of course.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
