I have suddenly lost my mind. I always encourage all new owners to sink as much into their new cars as they can especially so, before it can be assessed what other issues are present. Yes sink $500 into a service and a new alternator and have nothing else left for other more critcle things like ABS . Then see how far the car will run. I seldom chose to be controversial, but then thats my right and I like to exercise that once a year. Times up, tune in next November, when you hear me say... no need to save for the Holidays, and spend that tax refund now and just in case you owe something, make sure you have put all your money in your "new" car. Oh I do apologize to the new poster for my unsavorable behavior, but no one else.
