Just finished doing this for the second time in 25 years. Yes, for mine it is a cut down 30mm or 1-3/16 US six point socket. It takes 149 ft-lbs of torque. I used the starter motor nut loosing trick this time with bar locked. But this does not help in re-installation since engine rotation must be locked. I am lucky that I have the actual SAAB flywheel lock tool for that part of the job.
