I accidentally broke off the pressure connector on the power steering reservoir trying to replace a leaking power steering line filter. I decided to try J-B Weld to put the piece back on, and after putting everything back together, it appears to be holding (at least for now - though time will tell), but I am wondering....
Has anyone else used JB Weld like this with good results? I will be very pleased if it does hold. I cleaned the broken surfaces really good with dish soap to get it very clean and free of grease before using the JB Weld. I am crossing my fingers for now :-)
