Cold no clutch - replaced MC

I own a 900S Convertible 5sp - 150K
two weeks ago when there was a cold morning here in Massachusetts my clutch pedal had no resistance and went straight to the floor when I tried to start the car.
I figured the master went bad (the clutch pedal had always been a little sloppy and engaged close to floor) - replaced MC with a new one from Autozone ($65).
I bleed the system using a 4' clear hose (and DOT 4 fluid) attached one end to the slave bleed nipple and the other I put into the reservoir. I then would pump the clutch pedal and try to pump the air out. This kind of worked ok, but it took awhile to get some type of resistance on the pedal for it to activate clutch. The clutch worked for two weeks.
My problem now is, it has become colder again 4 deg F last night, and this morning my clutch pedal went straight to the floor again and I have no clutch.
Would power bleeding work better? Drain the whole system? Any ideas?
Thanks in advance for your help
