I have the 'European Bleeder' from Motive. I have used it for years and it works great. It makes it out to be a very easy one-person job. I use the same bleeder on my Saab c900, my 1988 Mercedes 300E, and my girl friend's 1987 Volvo 245.
I would only ever use a method to push or suck fluid out at the nipple. Using a syringe to push new fluid in at the nipple in the way that derf (below) suggests sounds disastrous. It seems like a great way to push dirty fluid back up into the system.
There is absolutely no reason to spend $20 more on the kit with the aluminum adaptor. Get the one listed on that page for $55. I know you could put together a power bleeder using other things which would cost less, but why bother ...
