Ok guys after checking the turbo for my oil issue I have determined it is either my valves or the head gasket. I have no temp problems but I do have the smoke coming out of the oil stick and oil burning from the rear. In any case I feel that a head job is needed just for my piece of mind. What I would like help with is anything I should look out for.

I am going to change all the seals involved and the thermostat. In addition I will change all the fluids and the timing chain tensor just because. A few friends are coming over o help but I will start removing some of the parts all week for the final weekend job. You guys are more experienced do you have any suggestions or anything to look out for?
I did read the online instructions so any help would be appreciated.
