Thx this is so crazy I keep going back and forth. I really just want to do the heads and replace the turbo but then I would be steaming if it was the rings so a compression test is a must. Some of the smaller lines like the one that goes to the top of the intake and the valve cover have lots of oil and the larger turbo in/out have a little. Ok so:
1) compression test
2) clean the hoses to the turbo
3) run it and see what happens
I should be on better ground from there thanks so much I feel like I'm going in circles.
If the compression goes well I think I am still going to do the head and replace turbo. The car has 91K and most of the records but it sat fr 10 years so some seals are bound to have given out.
