You sound right on,My first post I stated when I got it home I clamped the back hose as best as possible I knew on hard use the braking pressure may get through then not enough back pressure to let up..I figured it would be best to do and take a chance rather than driving it there grinding and seizing completely..so that is what happened it did not let it up on my last final stop it did not seize the wheel at all just grinding bad and got hot. From what I have looked at so far is the whole rear hub assembly can come apart from the axle and I feel it would have to take a torch to get through all of the attached parts to have an effect on the axle itself.Just some more research may call a dealer tomorrow and run this by a mechanic there. But more than likely I think I smell B.S....Thanks for follow up
