You're talking about the "ignition lock" relay? I'm surprised that the new ones are rated at 70a, but no, no reason to be concerned. Frankly I've only had maybe one or two of these things fail ever - in fact, my Alfa Romeo has a pair of them under the hood because it's relays kept failing. :)
Are you replacing this due to starter wackiness? If so, I think you may be going down the wrong road - the ignition lock relay has nothing to do with the starter. The solenoid wire goes straight from the switch to the solenoid, and the actual starter power comes straight from the battery. The ignition lock relay is what supplies power to most of the switched ignition functions, like the radio and windshield wipers.
