Cars for countries which drive on the left side but use H4 bulbs have the headlight reflectors assembled in such a way that the bulb is turned just a little bit clockwise (viewed from the rear) so that the up-angle goes up on the left side of the road rather than the right. Is there anyone else here old enought to remember Marchal lights which had a little slide on the reflector so that you could reposition the bulb if you took a ferry from France to England. In fact, in those days Swedes also drove on the left, so they needed to flip the bulb position (or just tape over part of the lense) every time they crossed a border.
