having said that however, since the lenses are removable, i believe the housings are the same for either rhd or lhd, you could swap out the lenses for lhd ones and be ok.
I AM NOT 100% SURE ON THAT LAST PART!! Probably best to see if Canada Saab and UK Saab had same part numbers for lamp bucket housing to be sure.
Yes, Canadian Saabs had e codes as well.
Lenses by themselves appear to be the difficult/expensive part to get if you should crack/break one. Also, if buying used, pitted/chipped or sand hazed lenses and dull/flaking chrome reflectors would be things to look for.
