Hey Jim,
I'm currently in the process of fixing these areas on my C900. Hopefully will finish sandblasting this morning, and should have POR-15ing done after that. I'm trying to do this on a budget... but if I weren't I would replace the following:
upper and lower a-arm bushings
steering rack, if it will be due at some point
motor mounts?
shocks?
new grease for the inner drivers
I don't know if you are doing this yourself or what, but, what I've found is that even though the rust didn't appear bad at all on mine, as I started picking away at it, I found more and more. It's not at the point of requires the kit that you mentioned, but I still needed to completely remove everything to do a thorough job. The upper a-arms were a total pain in the ass to get out, due to the coil spring issue (hint: remove the plate that coil spring sits on, rather than trying to slide the spring up and over the plate). On the frame rail, there is an area between where the steering rack mounts... and the firewall. The sway bar is bolted to the frame in this area. This area was full of debris and crud on mine. I would highly suggest poking around that area as well, as I found that the rust here went right through into the wheel well (punched out inner fender- rust).
Good luck with it.
