Best car ever (long)

So I drove from Albuquerque to Phoenix without AC (see previous post). So I had the sunroof open the entire time (except for the rainy bit). I have never had a more enjoyable drive. The open sunroof kept things cool enough in the cabin and it was nice to look up to check on the clouds or stars with no glass in the way.
Without the AC the car was noticeably more responsive and I had loads of fun zooming up steep hills while mere mortals were slowing down and downshifting. This drive entails some twists and turns while traversing the mountains and I can safely say that my driving skills are no match for the car. Every turn that I felt I was taking little fast, my C900 just cruised around as if it were a stroll in the park, no body roll, no complaint and of course the ever-present available torque to scoot out of a turn.
I already loved this car, but tonight's 6.5 hour drive just reminded me again why I spend so much time working on it (this car is an ongoing restoration project) and searching for parts.
Still lots to do on this car (not least of which is the AC) but after today's drive I will be using the sunroof more and the AC less.
