agreed!
Long ago I removed ALL the A/C equipment from my '85 900T (faux SPG) and have never looked back. She is now slighty lighter and able to run a lot cooler while driving harder. Granted I do live in the cooler climates of the NW USA (Oregon!) where Air conditioning might only be completely necessary one or two months out of the year. In warmer season, when things start to get a little toasty in the cabin, i just slide the sunroof open and let the fresh air draft thru the vents. perfect.
I pride my ride as being a only-the-basics, "no frills", true drivers car. She can hill climb like a champ, run with the best of em and match my driving demends tit-for-tat on any road in any condition. I married my self to this car years ago and have invested more time and money into them than i would care to calculate.
While our C900 Turbos may arguably NOT be the best car ever, there is certainly nothing else like it. I would not trade it for any thing else (except maybe to get the '96 Porsche Carrera 4S back...but thats an apples VS pine apples story that i wont get into now).
