What year is YOUR car? What year are the wipers coming from? Is your car a US spec car? Lots of questions before we can give a definitive answer.
All 900s have mounting tabs off of the radiator crossmember for the European wipers. The US cars from the start in 1979 through 1986 had US-spec sealed beam headlights, and cannot use headlight wipers without first converting the headlights to E-codes (European H4 headlights).
Wiring for them does not exist in the car through 1986, at least. US cars did not come with headlight wipers until the 1991 model year, and I would not expect wiring to be there for them, as they weren't an option in the US.
They need three wires to each. Ground, a source of switched 12 volts that is on while the car is on, and a connection to the switched side of the washer pump. Headlight wipers only work when you hit the washers. They spray as long as you hold the stalk bak, then they keep sweeping up to about 5 swipes and park (why you need the constant 12 volts).
For some reason, the US cars from 1991- have the wipers mounted to the bumper frame (or so EPC says), not the radiator crossmember, though both sets of mounting lugs are there. The shaft comes out of the same slot in the bumper cover, regardless.
If you have 1987- US headlights, there are TWO versions of these headlights. The 1987-1990 without wiper version, and the 1991-1994 with wiper version. The only difference is the placement of the aiming pips on the DOT headlight glass (and the aiming instructions that go with...). If you try to put wipers on 88-90 DOT lights, they'll skip over the pip or pips, and that's not too good for the mechanism. Best thing, of course, is to source a set of E-code H4 lamps, and get REAL lighting...
Fortunately, if you have a non-us market car, the only thing you should have to worry about is that the years mate up on the car and wipers (79-86 and 87-94), and whether the wiring is there. But most likely, if you're posting this question, you have a US spec car...
Headlight wipers are a valuable safety tool. Use them once while driving in a snowstorm, and you'll never want to go without again!
