ok I'll bite

the right side because its the one most likely to be knocked out of alignment hitting curbs and the like and as roads are also more curved there this affects tire wear on that side as well - that's my theory

also the right side is more prone to rust because of the water, salt and slush that accumulates at the side of the road

a fair test of my theory would be to ask someone in the UK which side wears more quickly
