Hey all,

I have a 1989 Saab 900 16 valve Convertible with the exact same problem.
Strangely enough, if I disconnect the AMM the car starts up no problem but attach it back up, the car will start and then stall out immediately. Ohm resistance between pin 3 & 6 was 240 which, apparently, is a little low (should be around 360-380 - can someone confirm this?). Could be a bad unit. My other AMM which was dead (got 0 ohms across pin 3 & 6) would have the car starting up but then the car would stall out whenever I hit a light / stop-sign.

In short - disconnect the AMM. The ECU should then revert back to using predefined values instead of live data so the idling might be high (1500 rpm) and it might stink of petrol but then you know whats going on.
