1990 900T Cvt.
New to me car. Drove it From Seattle to Spokane with no problems.
Next morning coolant all over drivers side floor. A whole lot of coolant..
How often does heater core go bad?Thinking Heater valve.
So pulled Knee bolster,Center console,Carpet and sub flooring pad.
Cleaned it up. I've looked through the drivers side speaker and Cant see any leakage anywhere.
On my 90 SPG the valve leaked down on my right foot most of the time and you could see on the valve where it was leaking.
I started the car and ran it for along time today tiring to find the leak but nothing dripped down.Yes I did cycle the valve off and on a number of times but couldn't get it to leak.......Walked away for most of the day and came back and there was one drop on the floor. But it was like just below the front of the break peddle. So something is leaking some where but again I don't see any tell tale signs on the valve.
How often does heater core go bad?
Really don't want to pull heater stuff out if I don't need to..
Any Ideas anyone?
Thanks Jim
