but the old one didn't actually look bad. The car takes a while to warm up, both based on the temp guage and the air temp from the vents. It basically takes the 5 mile drive to town to warm up, and then it is only 1/3rd up the guage, with luke warm air. The valve is connected, judging by the resistance on the control knob. This is on my 88 spg with engine/trans/turbo from my old '92t. My 88 SIS gets right up to temp quickly, and the air is roasting hot. Obviously not driving that in the winter, so of no use right now (temps are down to 0f here).
So, any thoughts? TIA
