Last night, with no help from the county after a torrential rain, no cones or warning signs placed ahead; I drove smack into 4ft of rushing water at 45 mph. Lucky to get out, as the car was almost drifting. The tower this morning said if there wasn't water inside to hold her down, it wouldv'e been washed away.
The doors, hatch, hood are all open airing it out and all standing water is out.Battery is out. Tommorow, I'm going to use a hair dryer on all the electrical connections; ie. dist cap has moisture in it. and spray all electrical connections with WD-40. What else can I do or where else to check. Hopefully, I can get it started and running in a few days without replacing parts. Any thoughs or comments are appreciated. I sure as hell do not want to have to get another car. Thanks
