It hard to say what other shops charge but if it is a straight forward job and no complication like getting the tapered pin out of the shifter shaft and so forth, I usually charge one hour to replace the shifter seal so around $130.00 with engine degrease and such.
It "can" go straight to hell though if that tapered pin break off and decides to not come out, but I usually have a couple of tricks up my sleeve.
Worn motor mounts can make the new seal leak prematurely due to that the engine if rocking up and down with acceleration.
