Well, the stop on the throttle body end has a very long adjustment screw. The length of cable & housing are both pretty short; about 30" of active cable & only 17" of housing. It's pretty common these days to have all bicycle cables rolled smooth & pre-stretched, so I'm not worried about losing my adjustments. The old throttle cable is crude spiral cable, with lots of protruding surfaces.
I think the difficult part is going to be drilling out the old housing from the two crimped-on end stops. If I leave any burrs in there it'll saw thru any cable relatively quickly.
