First off I must thank the Good Lord as this problem has caused me to check every nook and cranny. Unfortunately I am being taught patience as I have not found the problem... Yet.
1998 900 SPG
The moment it goes into boost it stubles over itself and looses power.
Car was running fine for thousands and thousands of miles and one day started doing this. Now I have taken it to two extremely qualified SAAB speciallists and we are still trying to figure it out.
About everything has been replaced either permenently or temporarily for diagnosis.
Coil, wires, injectors, fuel pump, air meter, APC, Brain, etc, etc, etc
Hoses and manifolds all checked, cat convert dropped and straight pipe ran thinking constipation...
The car used to run really sweet with a hell of a lot of boost.
It still runs fine as long as you stay out of boost, but this is totally unacceptable.
I even put new tires on it to make it feel better.
Please help me heal my baby. My Aero's are nice but theres just something about an SPG
Utmost SAAB Respect
Mike
