I think I've seen pictures of the same car your referring to with the wheel color matching the body paint . My memory of it is a little vague , but I think it was a 85/86 spg with the primary color being grey or red (can't remember) . I do remember the car and its wheels looking very good and well matched . I can't remember which site I saw it on . Maybe it was a red body with grey panels and wheels . Now I think I'll try to find it because it was a great example of how good these wheels can look on a c900 when painted this way . The grey/black in your photoshop pic doesn't look as much like a void (open space in the wheel) as it could in a more natural light , but the color looks perfect for hiding .
