Here is the scenario. Best looking 1988 SPG I have ever seen. Body in great shape. Bought it 5 months ago. I knew the transmission was on its way out. Should I:
1) put a $1000 rebuilt transmission and $1500 work into it and it will be good as gold
or
2) sell for parts, which would be very inconvenient since I am moving soon
It's a great car, bought it for less than $2k but I am wondering if putting $2.5k into a beautiful 88 SPG is worth it, in resale value?
Really appreciate your input regarding value of this car.
