Not. Going. To. Happen. The only add-on OD units attach at the transmission tailshaft which, you may have noticed, a C900 trans does not have.
The best you could do to retain the C900 packaging, would be to find/build a different ring & pinion set, and see if the chain drive at the front can be altered.
All C900 4- and 5-speed chain drive manual transmissions have a 1:1 mechanical top gear. The "overdrive" in top gear that was engineered into many of the later 5-speeds comes from the combination of chain drive gearing and different ring & pinion ratios. If you could have the parts made, you could accomplish the same thing with the Borg Warner 37, though you'd still have a 3-speed.
But in all honesty, if you really need 4 speeds in an auto trans in a Saab, you're going to do one of the following:
1) spend a lot of money, and time, to have some 4-speed auto trans engineered into a package that fits where a BW37 does.
2) spend a lot of money, and time, to have the front end (strut to strut) from an NG900 welded into your C900, and then have to sort out Trionic, the cable clutch, the shifter... and deal with the possible handling issues from a car that wasn't designed this way...
3) spend a whole lot less money, and almost no time, and just find a nice driving NG900 or OG9-3... Or 9000, or 9-5, or...
Mind you, this is from the perspective of it being a **practical** exercise. If you throw practicality out the window, well, you end up with neat cars like that V6 powered 92.
