83 Turbo changes to 85 Turbo?

I am wondering about the compatibility of parts between an 83 Turbo and an 85 Turbo. Of course I know that the 85 is a 16V and the bodies are quite similar, but is that the main difference? For example, does an 85 have the same style turbo, intercooler, etc? I assume EFI is all the same.

I haven't seen the inside of an 83, but have an opportunity to purchase one that I am hoping may provide a lot of "spare parts" for the 85 I do have (that is in need of some "spare parts"!).

So, any basic summary of what may have changed between these years would be greatly appreciated (or point me in the right direction).

Along these lines, what about taking the head from my 16V 85 Turbo and putting on the 83? Possible with little / no special customization needed?
