I'm wondering if I can get some pointers from the experts out there. I just picked up a '91 Saab 900 convertible and I want to get a paint job and fix the upholstery on the seats.

The paint and body are actually in incredible condition. No rust or dents but the hood has a very cloudy look. I'm guessing this means I'd need to redo the entire thing and I'm thinking of taking it to Maaco. If I do:

1. Is it worth it to get their top of the line clearcoat package?
2. Anyone know what package would be most true to the original Saab paint/look the best?
3. The car is black. Will their black paint look the same as anywhere else's or is there a specific 'saab black' I should be looking for?
4. Am I going to seriously regret having it done at Maaco?

For the interior I'm not really sure if I should buy new fitted covers or try to find a parts saab with a good interior to cannibalize. Thoughts?

1. If I get fitted covers does anyone recommend a site to buy them from? I found this but it looks like it would be $1400 to do the buckets and the rear bench. http://saabstuff.com/saab-leather-seat-covers/ Anyone know anything about the quality of these guys seats?

2. If I find an 89-93(94conv)saab with a good interior will any seats from a 900 regardless of convertible or not work in it?

Also, I'm probably going to be buying new trim pieces and interior trim... any recommendations for where to get them?

Thanks in advance for your help!
