I had a seat skin from Saabstuff on an SPG I just sold. Not only was it the best, softest material I've seen on a Saab, it was also better quality than the original. Original Saab seat skins had some pretty crummy piping and wire tubing that falls apart pretty quick compared to other brands. Saabstuff.com skins are incredible. Worth the money. But if money is a serious concern, PM me - I have a set of skins from a '94 Commemorative Edition vert I could let go for a good price.
Maaco is kindof a last-ditch option for a Saab. I'm going in for a Maaco paint job at some point soon for one of mine, but it's only because I have no money for a real paint job and the car sat in the desert for like 20 years and the paint is like gone. So anything is better than what I've got.
Is it actually faded through the clear coat? Have you tried using a clay bar on it and then buffing? Sometimes you can buff through that fade to get down to a good original color. I would try that before taking it anywhere.
