So when I has that same OS on a Mac mini, I hated the slow load speed too.
I 'upgraded' to 12 inch Macbooks with 10.4...that lasted through this past april.
You're completely right to think that the internet is way beyond your 10.3 capability...its beyond 10.4 too...everything loads slow...crashes too.
THe only benefit to staying with OS10.4 or below is your software. All intel-based macs won't take your programs, even if you Fire-wire transfer them using target mode.
WE bit the bullet and got an iMac flatscreen...my wife complains a lot less now. almost worth it.
now all these flash-based websites work as they should, and we're actually getting our internet bandwidth's money's worth (relatively of course).
So you're screwd. you got to buy a newer 'puter. I go to craigs list for cheap-o macs the some rich kid wants to pawn off because his parents bought him a new one. That's how we got our 12 inchers.
