92 900S manual. 204k mi.
There is about an inch or so play on the steering (as seen in the steering wheel rotation). It's not a big deal on the city streets but feels pretty bad on the freeway. If I watch the shaft in the engine compartment from above it's rotating significantly where it goes into the housing without the steering knuckles moving at all. I'm pretty sure it's not the knuckles either since I replaced one last year and the other seemed tight. It also seems to be slowly getting worse. Any suggestions?? Thanks!
