I take brake line issues to my indy - not worth my time to frig with the lines and deal with brake fluid. He manufactures new lines - parts cost is $10-20 and labour to install is reasonable.
However, it will save his time (and your $$) to pull the carpet etc. If you have holes right through the floor, you'd be wise to fix those. Many places will not let you put a car on the road with cabin perforation... Now would be a good time... the brake fluid leak was probably where the line corroded, probably right under the carpet in front on the drivers seat (they all go bad there, but also in back just in front of the passenger seat)... once that stuff leaks out, it will mess up the floors... POR15 is your friend. see picture below for the "after POR" of the rear seat corrosion in our 1989.
