Thanks Peter! I just finished redoing the whole interior except carpet. Dash refurbed, new fascia, center console with working oem gauges, seat skins were purchased from a guy in Australia and shipped to the previous owner. They are near new and he never installed them - just sitting in the back when I bought the car. Also removed and rebuilt the odometer. It broke twice more so I replaced it with a working console from another '80 that had 991,000 miles on it! I looked it all over inside and out and it had never been opened or changed. So the car has 91k miles but the Ido reads 991k. I thought that was funny. The outside is stripped right now waiting for paint. Then I gt to put on the rest of the collection - nos rally lights, rally skid plate, 99 luggage rack, mud flaps, all repainted trim, 3-piece mesh Saab racing rims, and 99 "Saab turbo" rally stripes. Can't wait.
I remember talking to the po of your 5-door before you bought it. I really wanted to buy that one myself. Did you end up selling it? It was beautiful!! Recently there was another '80 3-door for sale in Arizona. I wants that too. Low mileage and looked new. The '80 is my favorite c900 yet.
