They're coming to take me away & its justifiable.dizzy Posted by SaabStalker [Email] (#1098) [Profile/Gallery] (more from SaabStalker) on Sat, 13 Oct 2012 21:06:36 Members do not see ads below this line. - Help Keep This Site Online - Signup |
I posted a issue getting dizzy to install/fire on 9 October, I had many great responses and suggestions so it is with somewhat large doses of embarrasment I share my confession. Although I am still confused. Look I have been a aircraft mechanic for 48 years. I have owned Saabs since 83 and I have 6 now, in various stages of disrepair.I have done the dizzy to CSP hall sensor retrograde 3 times to include this 92 900s thats still laughing its tail pipe off at me. I got the dizzy installed as directed. no spark, and no fuel feed but somehow the engine ignited starting fluid. Yesterday and today. But yesterday it did not have a spark intensifier installed. Thats right I had scavaged that too and did not discover that until today. So I happily installed the missing part thinking that would fix the issue. It did not. I have cleaned and retightened all the main grounding points, replaced the black electronic box (hell is it the APC?) I am tired. I worked on car in dark saw no sparks or any sparks snapping. Whats next? I know put a shoe tag on the steering wheel of any car I borrow parts from. That s how not to be dumb and dumber.
