Thanks very much for the info. I found your tutorial -- fantastic info. I've always had a vague sense of how the adjuster mechanism works, but the pictures and narrative in your tutorial really helped.
There must be a seal where the pushrod for the handbrake penetrates the large piston (the one with the handbrake cam mechanism in it). Is this seal typically included in a rebuild kit? I don't remember seeing a seal like that in the rebuild kit I have on the shelf, but it might be there. Does the grease in the handbrake mechanism bother this seal?
It looks like the coaxial screw mechanisms in the smaller piston must be immersed in brake fluid. Do these corrode or get gummed up?
